Hemp clothing production

Not only fiber finishing takes place in the factory, the yarns are also processed into woven fabrics there.

Although work is carried out in shifts, employees on the day shift already have a day off after four working days and those on the early and late shifts after three. At workplaces with particularly high concentration requirements - such as in manual fiber inspection - working hours are shortened even further. In addition, employees receive 20% higher wages than the average wage.

The manufacturers we select pay strict attention to the fact that the producing factories are regularly audited and certified by FWF. In addition, the entire production and all farms are certified by the Swiss IMO Institute according to the "Global Organic Textile Standard" (GOTS).

Our manufacturers also visit the production regularly and control the compliance with the standard through regular tests. This creates a transparency that allows everyone to get a picture of the current in terms of social responsibility.

Regarding the raw materials, in the textiles used by exclusively certified cotton from controlled organic cultivation. The other components, such as zippers, are also certified at least Oeko-Tex 100.

Our textiles are dyed exclusively with reactive dyes from CIBA and DyStar, which meet the requirements of the IVN (International Association of the Natural Textile Industry) and the GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard). Optical brighteners are generally not used. Dyeing and finishing is done according to IVN guidelines.
